Backcountry Bhutan tours & trek was established in 2006 by alate Robin Joshi. He was the proprietor, guide, driver etc running the company on his own. He was more of a trekking guide and did almost all of the trekking routes in Bhutan.
The company is now owned by Sandhya Rani Pradhan, who is also owner of one of the very old pizzeria in Thimphu. The company has planned, managed and operated many tours and treks in last 16 years.
With the opening of the tourism in country after COVID 19, the company plans to widen its horizon and bring in tourist to experience Bhutan. Bhutan Believe is the new tagline of tourism in Bhutan and with it we would be always in service of the people who would believe in us.
